We love this photo of NYC DJ, Lauren Lane. Her MySpace profile bio lists her as having “recently played at Pacha NYC, Cielo, Love, LeSouk, Neptune Beach club in the Hamptons, Guesthouse and Boucarou. If you catch her set, you can expect to hear a mix of deep, funky or vocal house, dirty electro, minimal, tech-house, latin/tribal and groovy disco inspired beats—basically, anything that will make your body move and keep the energy up. She has just finished producing her first original track with Fonseca titled AfterParty and also is remixing the new Crystal Water’s track. She has also been picked to be featured in a new TV show that documents the life of New York City DJs which is set to air at the end of this year. Lauren plans to keep producing music, DJing in New York and elsewhere, and also pursue her music journalism career.”
